Roads: Streetscapes and Traffic Calming

Roadway design is as much art as science. Yes, there are many roadway standards that define geometric layout, but there is also practical experience that is essential in designing safe and efficient corridors. Our engineers' knowledge and wisdom allows us to integrate roads into the environment, design around sensitive areas, and incorporate aesthetic elements where possible without compromising service and safety. We also understand the nuances and complexities of urban streets in order to provide a safe, enhanced level of service designs. We are also adept at traffic calming to slow and reduce the number of vehicles through neighborhoods.
