The Snowmass Club is considered to be the premier lodge and golf course in the Aspen area.  LORIS was retained by the Club owners, the Aspen Skiing Company, to complete the civil engineering of the Phase II improvements for the Club. The project is part of the ongoing redevelopment and expansion of the Club lodge and golf course.

The Phase II project includes construction of two new time-share condominium buildings; a new tennis structure for indoor clay courts; a new golf clubhouse; and the completion of Clubhouse Drive, the main road servicing the club and golf course.   In addition, two new bridge crossings of the environmentally sensitive Brush Creek will be constructed as part of the Phase II project.  Protection of wetlands and design of water quality enhancement features are important issues addressed by LORIS engineers.  The project was especially challenging due to the tight site constraints imposed by existing buildings, utilities, Brush Creek, and protected wetlands.
