Eckstrand Memorial Bridge
Boulder County, Colorado

This bridge is the "world's shortest" asymmetrical cable stayed bridge. Its concrete deck was designed and constructed as a memorial to Bruce Eckstrand, former University of Colorado Chancellor. The original design was selected from a design contest amongst CU students. LORIS modified the concept, including splaying the towers, in order to simplify construction.
