LORIS provided structural engineering services for the design of the Atrium facade and other specialty glass elements within the new Northwest Medical Campus. LORIS was contracted to provide an architecturally unique facade system under a strict budget. The system out bid a conventional storefront alternate with minimal lines of visible structure.

The glass panels have been designed to span a 5 foot span to stainless steel fins. The glass is fastened to the stainless steel fins utilizing structural silicone. Further, many of the upper lights of glass are “stacked” on the fins in order to maintain an aperture with no horizontal lines.
