Gravel Lake Fishing
Pier and Cable-Stayed Bridge Design
Concepts LORIS provided
full structural engineering services for this pedestrian structure. The
overhangs 50-feet beyond the shoreline of Gravel Lake, and hovers just
inches above the water level. An inverted V-shaped backstay system consists
of steel W-beams and 4" pipes on either side of the pedestrian walkway,
and reaches 30' above the pier deck surface.
