These custom homes in the Aspen Glen sub-division of Carbondale feature economical prefabricated timber scissor trusses and expansive glazed walls. The use of shallow trusses in this manner provides large airy interiors and complex roof geometries typical of custom homes, while taking advantage of lighter materials, which are easier to fabricate and erect.

By working closely with timber truss manufacturers and the architect, LORIS optimized the structural systems to provide grand living spaces with expansive views of Mt. Sopris in this private Roaring Fork Valley community.
